At Amarillo Limón we have long wanted to build a single app bringing together everything that makes up the Mayo Cordobés. Four world-unique festivals, in the same city, in the same month — yet scattered across outdated websites, PDFs and tourist guides.
This app was born from that belief: that both locals and the thousands of visitors who come every May deserve a complete, clear and always up-to-date tool to make the most of the Patios, the Cruces, the Rejas and the Feria.
And it will be completely free. No subscriptions, no hidden catches.
Mayo Cordobés (May in Córdoba) is the name given to the four festivals that turn Córdoba into Andalusia's cultural capital every year: the Cruces de Mayo, the Patios Contest, the Rejas y Balcones and the Feria de Ntra. Sra. de la Salud. This is the complete guide to Mayo Cordobés 2026 with official dates, maps, listings and everything you need to know, whether you live in Córdoba or are visiting for the first time.
The Patios of Córdoba Contest 2026 runs from 4 to 17 May 2026. During these two weeks, 64 private patios open for free to the public, with official hours of 11:00–14:00 and 18:00–22:00. The Córdoban patios are UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2012.
Patios are grouped into five categories — Traditional Architecture, Modern Architecture, Singular Patios, Conventual Patios and Non-Contest — and spread across five areas of the historic centre. The Mayo Cordobés 2026 app includes the Córdoba patios 2026 map, an interactive map with every patio plotted on the street map, plus a list filterable by category, area or name.

The Cruces de Mayo Córdoba 2026 officially open Mayo Cordobés: from 29 April to 3 May 2026, open 12:00 to 02:00 (live music pauses between 17:00 and 20:00, but the crosses stay open). Over 55 flower crosses installed by brotherhoods, neighbourhood associations and peñas, each with its bar, tapas and live music. The City Council runs the contest in three categories: Historic Centre, Closed Venues and Modern Areas.
The app includes the full list of the 55 Cruces de Córdoba 2026, the map with their exact location, opening hours and a search by neighbourhood. Historic-centre squares with a cross: Plaza de San Agustín, Plaza de San Pedro, Plaza del Socorro, Cuesta del Bailío, Plaza de San Andrés, Plaza de Jerónimo Páez (1st 2025), Plaza de la Compañía and Plaza del Conde de Priego.

In parallel with the Patios Contest, the Córdoba Rejas y Balcones Contest rewards façades decorated with geraniums, ivy geraniums, carnations and petunias visible from the street. It runs from 4 to 17 May 2026 and this year 30 rejas and balconies compete, concentrated mainly in Santa Marina, San Basilio, Judería and San Lorenzo. 2025 winners: 1st Tafures 4, 2nd Cidros 4, 3rd Fernán Pérez de Oliva 7. Ideal for those who want to enjoy Mayo Cordobés aesthetics without queues.

The Feria de Córdoba 2026 runs from 23 to 30 May 2026 at the El Arenal Fairground, by the Guadalquivir river. It closes Mayo Cordobés with a week of casetas, horses, sevillanas, singing and the famous opening lights on Saturday night.
Unlike other Andalusian ferias, every caseta of the Feria de Córdoba is public: anyone can walk in freely. The app includes the Feria de Córdoba 2026 map with the 84 casetas spread across ten streets (Alcázar, Corredera, Cristo de los Faroles, Guadalquivir, Judería, Los Patios, Medina Azahara, Mezquita, Puente Romano and Tendillas), restrooms, services and the rides area.
